UPDATE! These are enhanced images of artwork sold or for sale. This is only a small portion of Rocky Wright's extensive creativity.
The remainder are works from up until now, and all are available in modest to oversized print form. Originals are available unless they specify PRINT which means they were sold online or offline or by snail mail correspondence.)
If there is anyone out there who does not understand why an artist looks at his thumb then here is a simple explanation. An artist is actually looking right above his thumb to target a specific area of the painting. You can see this practice at art galleries. This can also be achieved by balling your hand into a fist, and then looking through the thumb side... create a small circle of light by slightly releasing your pinky, index, middle, and ring finger. It is kind of like creating a telescope with your hand to where you can take in a specific part of a painting.
Enjoy the transitions as they are ever changing.-Rocky Wright
